The centerpiece of the Sumo PRO-19 is its 19-inch 3840 x 2160 HDR touchscreen display. Recording is handled via a CFexpress Type B slot or high-speed USB-C connectivity, allowing for the generation of instant dailies on widely available SSD media. The device supports a wide range of professional codecs, including 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW and DNx, ensuring that the captured footage maintains maximum fidelity for color grading and visual effects.
Connectivity and Synchronization
The Sumo PRO-19 is built to integrate into modern, networked production environments. It features built-in Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet for remote management and cloud-based workflows. For synchronization, the unit includes BNC timecode inputs as well as AirGlu RF and Bluetooth TC Sync, ensuring that all cameras and audio recorders on set remain perfectly aligned.
Audio is not an afterthought, as the unit includes dedicated XLR inputs and outputs, allowing it to function as a comprehensive recording deck for both video and sound.
