Spotify Video Podcasts Coming to Netflix in 2026

Spotify will stream select video podcasts on Netflix starting in 2026, expanding reach and reshaping podcast distribution.

Spotify and Netflix are teaming up to bring select video podcasts to a global streaming audience. Beginning in early 2026, Netflix will feature a curated selection of Spotify’s top video podcasts—including hits from Spotify Studios and The Ringer—marking a major shift in how podcasts are distributed and consumed.

This partnership strengthens Spotify’s expanding video strategy, which has seen major growth. With over 430,000 video podcasts now on the platform, and video consumption outpacing audio 20 to 1 since 2024, Spotify is clearly betting big on visual formats.

The move also supports its push for higher ad revenue and stronger Gen Z engagement.

The first wave of shows includes sports, culture, and true crime favorites like The Bill Simmons Podcast, Dissect, The Rewatchables, and Conspiracy Theories. Initially launching in the U.S., the content will expand to international markets in phases.

While Spotify hasn’t shared details on monetization or ad revenue sharing within this deal, the collaboration gives creators a new pathway for discovery and offers Netflix users a fresh way to experience top podcasts.
