A new creator-first platform is taking direct aim at one of podcasting’s biggest problems: podfade. PodGround, a community-powered hub for independent podcasters, has officially launched its public beta and announced a $500 Creator Micro-Grant to help emerging creators stay consistent and sustainable.
With over half of new podcasts ending after just three episodes, PodGround offers a solution built on accountability, peer learning, and support. The grant, open from February 2-13, 2026, will provide two independent podcasters with funding for creative development, production or promotion.
Designed for Podcasters Who Podcast with Purpose
Founded by community-builder and host of The Driven Introvert, Remi Roy Osi, PodGround is more than a learning platform; it is a social space for creators who want to grow without burning out.
“Podfade is real, but it’s often avoidable with the right support,” Roy Osi said in a press release. “We’re building a space where creators don’t have to do it alone, and we’re backing that belief with direct funding and a platform that puts community first."
What Makes PodGround Different?
PodGround addresses common pain points like promotion, editing and staying motivated by combining features of a learning center with the energy of a creative community.
Its offerings include:
- A community hub to help podcasters make connections and find collaborators and guests
- Resource library with video breakdowns and guides
- Events and meetups
- Virtual workshopping events
- Podcast-connected profiles, so members can listen to each other’s work
Early beta testers have praised the platform’s clean design and practical features.
“I really liked that everyone’s episodes are connected to their profile,” said one tester. "It’s easy to click in and listen.”
Grant Panel Features Industry Leaders
To kick off its micro-grant program, PodGround has assembled a panel of respected judges from across the industry, including Arielle Nissenblatt (EarBuds Podcast Collective), Greg Wasserman (RSS.com), Jordan Blair (Buzzsprout), and Gab Burke (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), among others.
The grant is aimed at creators who are serious about building sustainable shows with purpose, and the platform itself is designed to help them do just that.
With its blend of peer support, accessible training and live events, PodGround is positioning itself as a go-to space for podcasters ready to grow with others rather than go it alone.
