On Air Fest Evolves into an Always-On Cultural Organization

On Air Fest is evolving into a year-round cultural organization, adding live shows, brand collaborations, and The Ambies awards to its 2025 lineup.

On Air Fest, a prominent event in the audio industry, is expanding its reach beyond its annual festival. After eight years, the organization is transforming into an "always-on cultural organization" dedicated to producing live shows, special projects and collaborations between brands and creators.

This significant evolution promises a more continuous engagement with the podcasting and audio storytelling community.

Expansion and New Initiatives

On Air Fest's transformation into an "always-on cultural organization" signifies a commitment to year-round engagement. This new structure will facilitate the production of live shows, special projects and collaborations.

A key development is the integration of The Ambies awards ceremony into the On Air Fest in New York City next February, highlighting its growing importance in recognizing excellence in audio.

Furthermore, the "On Air @ Ludlow House" initiative will host fortnightly live tapings featuring creative storytellers and podcasters, providing a consistent platform for emerging and established talent. The organization is also bringing back On Air Fest LA in November, extending its presence to the West Coast.
