The Cheerful Earful Podcast Festival is set to make a return in October 2025, expanding its reach across three continents with events in London, Melbourne and, for the first time, New York City. This global celebration of comedy podcasts promises over 50 live shows, featuring a mix of renowned comedians and emerging creators.
Originating as a four-day event, Cheerful Earful has evolved into a 15-day international festival.

In addition to live performances, Cheerful Earful introduced The Golden Lobes Podcast Awards in May 2025. This event honored the funniest podcasts and moments in the audio industry, with categories like Best Blooper, Best Tangent and Funniest Student Podcast.
