Apple Services Break Records in 2025 with Growth Across Music, TV, and App Store

Apple reports record engagement and revenue across its services in 2025, led by Music, TV+, and the App Store.

Apple closed 2025 with a record-breaking year across its suite of services, including Apple Music, Apple TV, and the App Store. According to a company announcement, Apple’s platforms reached unprecedented levels of global usage, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

The App Store drew over 850 million weekly users, with developers earning more than $550 billion since its launch in 2008. Apple Pay eliminated over $1 billion in fraud and generated more than $100 billion in incremental merchant sales. Meanwhile, Apple Music hit all-time highs in listenership and new subscribers, celebrating its 10th anniversary with milestone feature updates.

Apple TV also experienced massive growth, with a 36% spike in monthly engagement in December. Blockbusters like F1 The Movie and original series like Pluribus helped propel Apple Studios to major Emmy wins, including most-awarded drama (Severance) and best freshman comedy (The Studio).

New AI-powered features across services further personalized user experiences. Apple Podcasts added auto-chaptering and dialogue enhancement, while Apple Wallet and Maps improved usability through Apple Intelligence. Fitness+ expanded to 28 countries, and Apple Arcade added over 50 new ad-free games.

As Apple expands its global reach—with Apple Pay now in 89 markets and new rollouts in South Korea and beyond—the company emphasized its continued focus on privacy, trust, and innovation.

Looking ahead, Apple plans to further integrate its services with intelligent enhancements and global sports partnerships, including exclusive Formula 1 streaming on Apple TV in the U.S. starting March 2026.
