Have you ever had a great idea for a podcast but didn’t know where to start? That is exactly the challenge the new Podcast Knowledge Library aims to solve.
This initiative is the result of a collaboration between DW Akademie and Sweden’s MethodKit, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Together, they are making podcast education more accessible, practical and globally inclusive.
Origins and Development
The Podcast Knowledge Library evolved from the MethodKit for Podcasts, a deck of 61 cards designed to guide users through podcast development, production and distribution.
These cards have helped podcasters structure their ideas and workflows by breaking the process into clear, manageable steps. The new library expands on this foundation by incorporating insights from PodcasTraining workshops held around the world, ensuring it addresses real-world challenges faced by both beginners and seasoned creators.
