Mystery Science Suits: The Rewatch Approach

A new podcast will combine satellite radio, television and streaming video, all very sharply dressed.

Actors Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty's still-unnamed podcast will feature the two re-watching epsiodes of the TV drama 'Suits," in which they both starred. SiriusXM's Stitcher Studios will produce the 'cast, in which the pair, often joined by other 'Suits' alumni, will react, break down and re-visit the making of each episode.

'Suits' aired on television from 2011-2019, and its' 2023 release on Nextflix quickly saw it climb to be the most-watched title ever acquired by a streaming service.

The show "is a captivating legal drama that follows the exploits of a top Manhattan law firm as they navigate the complexities of corporate law while balancing personal and professional challenges," according to a release from SiriusXM.

Sirius already hosts several 're-watch' type podcasts, including Office Ladies from Earwolf and "Parks and Recollections" from Team Coco.

The re-watch genre's most famous example stretches back to the 1990s, with Mystery Science Theater 3000 (often shortened to MST3K), a TV-based comedy in which aliens observe a human test subject's reactions to old movies, commenting on both the black and white, usually low-budget films and a person's reaction to them.

No mention of whether guestson the newest offering might include 'Suits'-star-turned-British-royalty alum Meghan Markle.
