Adobe Firefly Adds New AI Tools for Video, Audio and Voiceover Production

Adobe's new Firefly updates give creators powerful AI tools for scripting, audio, and visual generation in one suite.

At Adobe MAX 2025, Adobe announced a major wave of generative AI tools across Creative Cloud, including new features in Firefly, Premiere Pro, and Audition. These updates are designed to help creators produce content faster, smarter, and with more creative control.

One of the standout features is Firefly’s expanded audio generation capabilities. Creators can now generate background soundscapes, music beds, and even synthetic voiceovers tailored to their video projects. Combined with Adobe’s new AI video editing assistants, users can script, narrate, and visualize a complete scene using just a prompt.

For podcasters and video creators, this means fewer tools and more streamlined workflows—especially when it comes to sourcing royalty-free assets, adding narration, or building visual B-roll. Adobe’s AI engine also preserves brand style and voice, which helps maintain consistency across projects.

These tools are especially useful for small teams or solo creators who don’t have access to large production crews. By leveraging Firefly and its integrated audio/video features, creators can focus more on storytelling and audience engagement rather than technical tasks.

As more tools get embedded into popular platforms, it’s clear Adobe is positioning itself as a one-stop creative engine for multimedia producers. Creators who already use Premiere Pro or Express will benefit most, but even new users can take advantage of the browser-based workflows.
