# Adobe Releases Virtual Studio Beta

Adobe is asking users to help polish their new Adobe Podcast, releasing a beta version of the browser-based software to current subscribers.

PodcastVideo's own Parker Dodson took a quick spin through [Studio](https://podcast.adobe.com/?ref=podcastvideos.com), the recording/editing program at the center of Adobe Podcast. His take: it's a simplified, cut and paste alternative to the more technical [Adobe Audition](https://www.adobe.com/products/audition.html?ref=podcastvideos.com). For basic recording, it works. Advanced users may want to stick to the customization available in Audition.

Studio joins the existing [Enhance Speech](https://podcast.adobe.com/enhance?ref=podcastvideos.com) and [Mic Check](https://podcast.adobe.com/miccheck?ref=podcastvideos.com) tools under the Adobe Podcast banner.

There are a few caveats. First, access is only available to Adobe subscribers, who have to request access via an email to the development team. Tip: use the same email that's registered to your Adobe account.

The other limitations: the beta only currently runs on Google Chrome, on desktop; and it's only available in English.
